We accept most major debit and credit cards as preferred method of payment. Alternatively a sterling cheque made payable to P Elliott.
Bookings
Bookings may initially be made online by completing the online booking form on the reservations page, or by email, phone or fax but will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit: 20% of the total if booking more than 8 weeks before, or the full payment if less than 8 weeks before your trip. This payment is payable within 7 days. Payment can be made by Credit Card, Sterling cheque payable to “P Elliott” or bank transfer.”
On receipt of your deposit a provisional booking form will be sent to you. On receipt of the final payment, 8 weeks prior to arrival, a booking confirmation will be sent to you with directions.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing and the deposit of 20% will be non-refundable. For cancellation less than 8 weeks, the final payment is also non-returnable unless re-booking is successful. In such cases costs will be deducted from the return of any payments. We would, therefore, advise you to obtain comprehensive insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation.
If we cancel a confirmed booking, our liability is limited to the return of all payments received.
Changeover
To allow for the changeover of guests, The Stables will normally be available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival until 10.00 am on the day of departure. We appreciate if guests keep as close as possible to these times and kindly let us know approximate arrival time in advance so that you can be welcomed in person and given the key.
Each booking should be in the name of one person who shall be responsible for the actions of all members of their party. The names of the party must be included on the booking form. THIS MUST NOT EXCEED 4 PERSONS.
Guests are responsible for the property during periods of rental and are expected to take reasonable care of it. The rooms and all utensils and equipment should be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period. An additional charge may be made if extra cleaning is required.
In the unfortunate event of a breakage or damage this should be reported as quickly as possible to the owner and paid for by the end of your stay with us.
Losses
We cannot accept any liability of any loss, damage or expenses of any kind sustained by a member of the party in connection with The Stables, whatever the cause might be, including negligence. Where such loss, damage or additional expense is the result of proven negligence by us is accepted.
Sauna
All guests must read carefully and fully comply with the health and safety instructions provided in the sauna before use. The owners accept no responsibility for injury sustained through the misuse of this facility.
Right of Entry
The owner shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Complaints or Queries
If you have any problems please contact us immediately. Complaints not reported at the time cannot be entertained subsequently and it is regretted that no correspondence can be entered into in the case of complaints made after you have returned home, when it is impossible for them to be effectively investigated.
