Ashtree is a former 18th century farmhouse set in 10 acres of farmland with a two acre beautifully landscaped garden. The Stables Cottage shares the main house drive but is a completely independent retreat. It has been tastefully renovated using local Cotswold stone and retains all its character with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Immaculately decorated throughout, it offers 5 star luxury accommodation with the flexibility and privacy which self-catering has to offer. The newly added Sauna and relaxation facility offers guests the chance to unwind in sheer indulgence after a busy day touring the local sights and attractions.

Accommodating from two to four guests, the rooms are furnished with a range of antique and modern furniture. The décor has been designed with rich textures and beautiful fabrics to make the rooms feel warm and inviting. The sprung mattresses are top quality and the beds are complimented with pristine white cotton sheets and feather duvets, ensuring a blissful night's sleep. Situated in the Oxfordshire countryside the cottage is surrounded by the sounds of wild birds; skylarks and swallows compete for song in summer and sightings of wild deer, hares, rabbits and muntjacs are regularly sighted by our guests.

Ashtree's own free range Maran chickens provide guests with superb quality dark brown eggs and honey from our own Apiary is freely available in season. A stay at The Stables will certainly re-charge your batteries!
